• Michelin confirmed as MotoGP tire supplier until 2026
• The French manufacturer will remain the official and exclusive supplier of tires for the premier category from 2024 to 2026
Michelin and Dorna Sports are pleased to confirm the extension of their contract for three additional years. The French tire manufacturer will continue to be the official and exclusive tire supplier for MotoGP until at least 2026. Thanks to the extension of this three-year agreement, Michelin and MotoGP will reach the milestone of a decade of motorcycle racing together.
Michelin, based in Clermont-Ferrand, France, became the exclusive tire supplier for MotoGP in 2016. Since then, the premier category of motorcycle Grands Prix has experienced some of the most beautiful races in its history. Records are regularly broken. Ten of the fifteen closest finishes have been recorded since 2018, four of them in 2021.
As provided for in this agreement, Michelin visibility will continue to be deployed around the circuit at each event and Michelin will continue to be title sponsor of a Grand Prix each season.
