It was the vigil on the side of the Misano track which happily learned of its loyalty to the MotoGP calendar. This year will be the tenth visit of the speed elite to the shores of the Adriatic. A visit which will be repeated from now on until 2020.
The stronghold of Valentino Rossi is thus assured of its presence among the flagship events of motorcycle speed. A position that is always good to anchor in a period where other Nations are studying the idea of being part of the MotoGP landscape. Thus Mexico, which has announced an ambition for 2018.
A year that will not concern Misano, which is now quiet until 2020. The contract was signed during a meeting between Carmelo Ezpeleta (CEO of Dorna Sports), Teodoro Lonfernini (Secretary of State of the Repubblica di San Marino for Tourism and Sports), Gian Carlo Capicchioni (Secretary of State of the Repubblica di San Marino for Finance and Budget) , Andrea Corsini (Member of the Emilia Romagna Council for Tourism), Andrea Gnassi (President of the Province of Rimini) and Luca Coaiacovo (President of Santa Monica SpA).
