On this sunny Monday, a few teams decided to stay at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli to carry out private tests.
Under a beautiful sun heating the air to 29°, we were able to observe the Repsol Honda team on the track with Marc Márquez, the KTM team with Espargaro Pol et Randy de Puniet, the Aprilia team with Alex Espargaro, as well as the Honda test team with Stefan bradl.
Marc Márquez was using one of its pre-2019 prototypes, on which we could not notice any visual difference with its usual machine.
Espargaro Pol re-tried the new KTM fairing and wings which had appeared on Friday morning before being put away in the cupboard until today.
As, obviously, the pilots were not in time attack mode when we were present, we did not take any time and we were content with these few shots taken from very far away with a telephoto lens, hence their poor quality .
Tomorrow, the track will once again resonate with Austrian V4s, with the arrival of a new test driver…
