Despite two penalties imposed, Valentino Rossi has just won the Monza Rally Show for the sixth time, and the third time in a row, at the wheel of his Ford Fiesta WRC.
Benefiting from a lead of 2,7 seconds before the last special of only 1,350 kilometers, Marco Bonanomi (Citroën DS3) seemed to be playing on velvet, but made a beginner's mistake when leaving the course.
As a result, Valentino Rossi took first place, 5,7 seconds ahead of the Norwegian. Andreas Mikkelsen on Hyundai NG i20.
Note the beautiful 9rd place of Mattia Pasini, the 13th of "Uccio" and the 26th of Luca marini.
After his tests at Sepang at the start of the week and the Monza Rally Show, the Doctor will now take a few days of rest, before the 100 km race on his ranch... in two weeks!
