Moto3 qualifying for this edition of the Japanese Grand Prix on the Motegi circuit ended with two great firsts. It was local Ono who completed the fastest lap, so fast in fact that he is now the new track record holder. But it is Migno who will start tomorrow from pole position for the race, his first of his career. Explanations.

At the heart of this outcome, the sanctions inflicted on pilots lost on the track during the exercise and looking for inspiration through an aspiration. Otherwise, the financial year was marked by falls in Valtulini at the start of the session, Darryn Binder towards the end and by the clash between Antonelli et Guevara in the final seconds. There was also a Fabio Quartararo making a mistake a quarter of an hour from the goal, a mistake which will cost him dearly since the Frenchman will not be able to do better than eighth afterwards.

The final race was marked by heavy traffic on the track which greatly hampered the World Champion Brad Binder in his final effort. The KTM official is nevertheless on a front row recovered by bastianini fourth on the timesheet thanks to the sanction imposed on Ono. This is the eighth consecutive front row for the Italian.
Open up closes the top 5 to his teammate Dallas Port who achieves his best qualifying performance at this level. Antonelli is seventh despite his accident and Norrodin as Oettl deprive NAVARRO of the top 10. Jules Danilo is twenty-fourth. Tomorrow, we will have to watch the Japanese in the race Ono who will give everything to delight his audience.
