It was a second MotoGP free practice session marked by violent falls which marked this Friday afternoon at Motegi. With a concern for the right collarbone of a Pedrosa who gave himself a frightening face. Meanwhile, Lorenzo was gaining the upper hand on Dovizioso's Ducati.

Then Espargaro Pol suffered a minor fall before trying to restart in vain. Stefan Bradl did the same on the Aprilia.

On the track, it's Marc Márquez who put on a show, not sparing his pain to the point of offering himself another miraculous recovery. Whoever must first manage to be crowned does not give up the attack. A motivation that will bring him to the ground six minutes from the goal without consequence since the Honda official will leave.

These last six minutes have been eventful with the accident of Dani Pedrosa catapulted from his Honda without fins at turn 11. The Spaniard got up holding his right collarbone. Eugene Laverty for his part, suffered a violent roll at turn 6 and will be evacuated on a stretcher.

Those who remained on their wheels challenged a stopwatch which was mastered by Lorenzo who prevented his future teammate at Ducati by 53 thousandths. Dovizioso to confirm his leadership of the morning. Casa Particular in Viñales follows by less than a tenth while Márquez fourth point leaving the care to a Crutchlow stubborn to close the top 5.
Aleix Espargaró is in the fight with the other Suzuki and ahead of the flu Red. Petrucci is eighth in front Pedrosa who will be forfeited and Pol Espargaro which completes a provisional top 10 missed by the Aprilia duo. Hector Barbera is fourteenth and perhaps regrets his good old GP16 on his current GP14.2. Baz is twentieth ahead of Smith and one Jones freelancer who has difficulty finding rhythm and place on the track.

The fact remains that the weekend is unfortunately over for one Pedrosa with a broken collarbone.
