Despite a spectacular final charge from the Ducati D16 of Andrea Dovizioso which demoted him to second position, Marc Marquez had done more than well this morning, dominating almost the entire session despite a slight problem in the second sector.

The afternoon also started well, with leadership for almost the entire first run, then a splendid catch of a slide from the rear at turn #1.

A little after, it was again Andrea Dovizioso who overtook the Honda driver, before he landed softly (we can't call it a fall) losing the front at turn #10 minutes from the checkered flag; a mishap which barely delayed Marc Marquez and which clearly did not damage his confidence…

Marc Marquez, 4th, 1'45.303: “I really feel sorry for Dani, since it seemed like he was really getting back to his usual speed. I just wish him a speedy recovery. As for today, honestly the feeling was better than I expected for here. I thought we would struggle a little more, but from the start I felt pretty good and we were able to do a good job on the bike. In the afternoon I suffered a small fall while I was trying the hardest front tire and trying to push a little more, but I was able to continue without going into the box and improve my time, which which is a positive. I know our opponents are really strong here, but we are not far away. »
