Dani Pedrosa shows up in Motegi having just turned 31 and with a Japanese decoration on his helmet.
He has always obtained brilliant results in Motegi, winning 5 wins (2011, 2012 and 2015 in MotoGP, 2004 in 250cc, 2002 in 125cc when the Pacific GP was held on the Japanese circuit) and 4 podiums (2nd in 2005 in 250cc, and three times 3rd in MotoGP in 2013, 2009 and 2008).

Dani Pedrosa : “Motegi is one of my favorite tracks and, apart from the fact that it is the home circuit for Honda, I have had good results there. Clearly we want to get the best possible result in front of our Japanese fans, but we need to go there and start working on the bike and the tires to understand if we can be as competitive as we have been recently. Right now the most important thing is to find the best possible combination between the tires and the bike, with me also in the formula, of course, to try to start going well from Friday morning. »
