In times of war, the industries of the engaged countries are reconverted to participate in the effort necessary to face it. We must believe that we are in this declared war, since, indeed, certain factories are adapting their production apparatus accordingly. This is the case of NZI, the Spanish brand of helmets…

In the fight against the coronavirus all contributions are welcome. NZI thus had a laudable idea by directing its production apparatus towards the production of a screen to avoid contact and thus optimize this social distancing which has become a strategic issue.

NZI takes advantage of its expertise to adapt its production line and manufacture these reusable screens if they are disinfected with 70° alcohol or with a mixture of water and 2% bleach. These screens, which the Spanish helmet brand is launching on the market, will be a useful isolation tool. For this reason and before putting them on sale, NZI will donate the first 300 units manufactured, among others, to the Murcian Health Service, the municipal police and nursing homes so that they can put them to good use.

The founder of NZI, Nazario Ibáñez, established as an essential value of the company “ take care of people's safety » and this is what the Spanish company did again, this time faced with the need to avoid proximity. Experience NZI in the manufacture of PPE (personal protective equipment) has made it possible to adapt one of its products, the CT-1 industrial safety helmet, in particular its adjustable harness to hold the screen in position above the head, to which he attached a PET (polyethylene terephthalate) screen which covers the entire face, reusable after disinfection.
