In 2020, where will Virgo appear? The Spaniard, whose first name is Xavi, will not continue with the Marc VDS team where he will only have had one season. His results are disappointing this year, but for 2020 he has some great options. Or an option in Moto2 under promising Asian colors and not only in this category. But there is also the prospect of being Jonathan Rea's teammate in WSBK, which means official Kawasaki rider status...

We cannot say that Xavi Verge is having a positive season. In his fifth year in the Moto2 World Championship, he is the teammate ofAlex Marquez in a good Marc VDS team. Only here, after eleven races, the same Alex Marquez leads the Moto2 World Championship with 181 points and 43 lengths ahead of Tom Luthi (Dynavolt Intact GP). His teammate Xavier Vierge has only 39 points and is only fourteenth in the provisional general classification.

Alex Marquez will continue under the colors of the Belgian brewer in 2020, and it will undoubtedly be with Sam Lowes by his side. For Virgin, 22 years old, two options would be considered: a place within a team in full progress, which is also eyeing Luca marini, or a change of trajectory by integrating the WSBK. And not at just anyone's house: absolutely at Kawasaki, as a teammate of Jonathan Rea. En lieu and in place of Leon Haslam who would go to Puccetti, thus succeeding Toprak Razgatlioglu heading for an official Yamaha in the category.

Kawasaki would recover a young rider of the same age as the Turk, whom the greens are letting slip dangerously towards the competition. Only one rider from Moto2 has progressed to the Superbike World Championship. It is Jordi Torres. The Spaniard won the 2 Moto2013 race at the Sachsenring and finished third in Australia and second in Valencia the same year. In the SBK World Championship, he won his only race in Qatar in 2015 and three other podiums for Aprilia.

As for Virgin, we claim three podiums. He finished second at Motegi in 2017. In 2018 he was also second in Argentina and third at Phillip Island. From 2015 to 2017 he drove for Tech3 and last year for Dynavolt Intact. In the championship, he never did better than 11th.
