The story between the two had started a little further away and had deteriorated with blocking maneuvers to end almost in fistfights after crossing the finish line. The maneuvers are dangerous, the gestures explicit, and the atmosphere so deleterious that we see a bastianini witness to the scene trying to calm the two furious people. In vain.
