Augusto Fernandez set the best time during the first free practice session of the Aragon Grand Prix of the Moto2 class scheduled at Motorland, 15th stage of the 2022 World Championship. The leader of the world championship standings powered the Kalex of the Red Bull Ajo team at the top of the standings with a time of 1'52.925.
Behind him were Aron canet (Pons) and Alonso lopez (Speed Up), the latter winner of the last Grand Prix contested at Misano, his first career success. Rookie Pedro Acosta (Red Bull Ajo) is fourth, ahead Fermin Aldeguer (Speed Up), Jake dixon (Aspar) and our Tony Arbolino (Marc VDS), seventh, 0,613s from the top. Close Top Ten Somkiat Chantra (Team Asia), Jorge Navarro (Pons) and Cameron Beaubier (American Racing).

After a quarter of an hour, Augusto Fernandez slams a 1'53.400. Antonelli fall at turn 14. His teammate Drive follows him to the same place 5 minutes later, when Alonso lopez signs the best time in 1'53.011. We're halfway through the session.
