The Australian actually obtained the best time during the second free practice session of the Aragon Grand Prix in the category. The Red Bull Ajo Team driver completed a lap in 1' 52.743, leaving behind the two namesakes Fernandez, Augusto (Marc VDS) ahead of Raul, the latter having recently had surgery on his right hand injured in training...
The fourth beat is for Fabio Di Giannantonio (Gresini), which is ahead Sam Lowes (Marc VDS), Albert Arenas (Aspar), Marco Bezzecchi (Sky Racing Team VR46) and Nicholas Bulega (Gresini).
In provisional Q2, we also find Fermin Aldeguer (Speed Up), Marcos Ramirez (American Racing), Aron canet (Aspar), Hector Garzo (Pons), Marcel Schrotter (Intact GP) and Jorge Navarro, the latter having set the best time in FP1.

The last five minutes began again with the Englishman in the lead. NAVARRO follows as follows Bezzecchi et Canet. Bulega is in the top 5. Aldeguer is ninth and is no longer far from appearing as a revelation.
In the last minute, the Ajo pilots charge and take the lead, Raul fernandez standing in front of his teammate Gardner, despite the injury to his hand... Under the checkered flag, Raul fernandez dominates despite a broken and operated hand in front Gardner, Sam Lowes, Navarro and Di Giannantonio. Bezzecchi follows with Arenas, Canet, Ramirez et Bulega. Ogura is the last qualifier for Q2.
