Raúl Fernández (Red Bull KTM Ajo/winner):

" The The race and the weekend as a whole were really difficult. I'm very happy with the work we accomplished, but the last laps were very hard: I couldn't even brake in the last five laps. It was really difficult for me, but I'm happy with the end result. This victory is really special to me because it is my first in Spain. »

Remy Gardner (Red Bull KTM Ajo/second):

" Frankly, I have nothing to complain about, because getting a second place in Aragón is like a victory for me. It's a track where I've always encountered difficulties, and this was again the case yesterday during qualifying. But today I just didn't have enough pace to keep up with Raúl Fernández, and even Sam Lowes to be honest. They were just on another planet today, and I'm happy with the result I'm taking home. During the last laps, I had some problems with the rear tire which was starting to really deteriorate and cause vibrations. It's true that choosing the soft tire always constitutes a risk at this level, but I still managed to reach the finish line by taking care of this rear tire. Today, it is clear that the idea was to limit the damage, and in that sense second place really feels like a victory for me. »

Augusto Fernández (Elf Marc VDS Racing Team/third):

" I I think this is one of my best podiums of the season, especially after this difficult comeback from 12th place on the grid. My start was good but the following laps were very bad. I had difficulty getting into the rhythm, especially with these hot temperatures because it changes things completely, even compared to yesterday during qualifying. But once I got into the rhythm, I attacked without thinking, taking laps one after the other. I have to say that I had a great fight with Jorge Navarro. I'm happy with the end result, because we've worked hard since yesterday's qualifying, and it's good to be back on the podium. »
