Augusto Fernandez will start from pole position for the Moto2 Grand Prix of Aragon scheduled for this Sunday at Motorland. The leader of the classification wins his second pole this season, the third in Moto2. For the Red Bull Ajo Team rider, starting next year on the GasGas MotoGP, this is the seventh front row taken in the intermediate class.
The drivers of Team Aspar Albert Arenas et Jake dixon will start on the front row alongside him, after being respectively beaten by 0.124s and 0.291s. Alonso lopez (Speed Up), the fastest in the third and final free practice session, finished fourth and will start from the second row in the company ofAron Canet (Pons) and the rookie Peter Acosta (Red Bull Ajo), 3 Moto2021 champion.
Third line for Tony Arbolino (Marc VDS) and for the Team Asia duo composed ofAi Ogura et Somkiat Chantra. These qualifications should be forgotten for Celestine Vietti (Mooney VR46 Racing Team) who will only start from the 17th box after falling without consequence.
