Augusto Fernandez was the fastest in the third and final session of the Moto2 category in Assen, scene of the Dutch Grand Prix, 11th stage of the 2022 World Championship, the last before the summer break. The Red Bull Ajo Team driver set the best lap in 1'37.115, a time which allowed him to beat Albert Arenas (Aspar) by only 65 thousandths, who is ahead of Bo Bendsneyder by 46 thousandths.

Ai Ogura (Team Asia) who hunts Celestine Vietti at 8 points in the championship is fourth, ahead  Tony Arbolino (Marc VDS), Jake dixon (Aspar), Joe Roberts (Italtrans) and Filip Salac (Gresini). Marcel schrotter (Intact GP) and Alonso Lopez (Speed ​​​​Up) close the Top Ten.

Celestine Vietti (Mooney VR46 Racing Team), Sam Lowes (Marc VDS), Somkiat Chantra (Team Asia) and Cameron Beaubier (American Racing) also qualify directly for Q2. They will have to go through Q1, among others: Alessandro Zaccone (Gresini), Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Italtrans), Niccolò Antonelli (Mooney VR46 Racing Team) and Simone Corsi (MV Agusta Forward).

The FlexBox HP40 driver improves and remains in 1st position, he sets a lap time of 1.37.285s. Zaccone, Gonzalez et White complete this provisional top4. There are 5 minutes left in this session.

NAVARRO on its momentum in Q1 signs the reference time in 1.36.860s. They put the wheel on him, Bendsneyder, Lopez, Dixon and Arenas.

Lowes takes control in 1.36.767s, the drivers still have 5min30 to catch the British driver.
