Driver Marc VDS did not have a very satisfactory first GP with his new team, but intends to take advantage of the weeks off from competition to get back in as good shape as possible.
Augusto Fernandez is seen as one of the possible title contenders this year, although the 2020 season is on indefinite hiatus. Unfortunately for him, his first race with the Marc VDS team did not go exactly as he hoped, as it ended after barely two laps due to an incident. The Spaniard can therefore only wait to make up for it during the next Grand Prix but for the moment compliance with health rules and confinement is necessary before seeing an improvement in the situation.

These will compensate for the very first one which was held in Qatar and which did not go very well. “It’s a big disappointment. I'm disappointed because I had a good pace thanks to very good work and significant steps forward made compared to the tests. And then I encountered a lot of difficulties, especially in the dry. During the race weekend we analyzed the data and worked to improve. Our pace was good, maybe not to win but enough to score points. Unfortunately I didn't succeed. »
