Clean and burr-free. Dominant during qualifying, Alex Rins didn't let anyone steal the show in Texas in a Moto2 race controlled from start to finish. Sam Lowes believed in it but had to let it go. The adventures of Qatar are therefore well and truly erased. The three men declared favorites for the title met before heading to Europe where the counters are reset to zero. The one who had to work hardest to conquer the podium will have been a Johann zarco who never stopped fighting against the Swiss guards agitated et Lüthi, while having an eye on the boiling Courses, who will end up having the scalp of Nakagami.
Folger was also there and he will also finish the top 5 behind agitated and in front of the Italian at the Speed-Up. This to the great lady Lüthi, ultimately seventh, a position which caused him to lose the lead in the championship which went to Sam Lowes in front of the winner of the day and the French title holder.
The top 10 is closed by Schrotter while Nakagami who recovered from his incident with Courses takes the point of fifteenth place. The first Tech3 machine is eighteenth with Isaac Viñales.
