Fermin Aldeguer after the disappointment of the Argentine Grand Prix, where after dominating all the sessions he crashed in the race after contact with Celestino Vietti, is back as the great protagonist in Austin, Texas. The Speed Up driver actually achieved the best time of the first day of free practice with a time of 2'09.155, ahead of Tony Arbolino (Marc VDS) by only 46 thousandths.
The Milanese driver takes turns ahead of the local driver Cameron Beaubier (American Racing), Jake Dixon (Aspar) and Aron canet (Pons). Augusto Fernandez (Red Bull Ajo) is sixth, followed by the rookie and 3 Moto2021 champion, Pedro Acosta, from the Japanese of Team Asia, Ai Ogura and Jorge Navarro (Pons). Close the Top Ten Albert Arenas (Aspar).
Also in provisional Q2 Joe Roberts (Italtrans), Somkiat Chantra (Team Asia, winner in Indonesia), Sam Lowes (Marc VDS) and Marcel schrotter (GP intact). The leader of the world championship Celestine Vietti (Mooney VR46 Racing Team) was only out for 18 thousandths of this list, avoiding the agonies of Q1, followed by the MV Agusta Forward of Simone Courses. This Saturday should mark the return of Niccolo Antonelli (rookie Mooney VR46 Racing Team) withdrew Friday because he was struggling with intestinal problems which also handicapped Pol I will espargaro in MotoGP.

It is Chantra which signs the reference time in 2.11.479s. Arbolino take your hand in front Canet in 2.11.280s. Chantra, Bendsneyder bring up the rear of this provisional top5.
We quickly pass the 2.11 mark with Arbolino in 2.10.258s. Canet, Chantra, Dixon and Ogura imitate him in the effort.
Canet in turn took the best time in 2.09.644s. Arbolino, Chantra, Schrotter, Acosta, Dixon, Ogura, Fernandez and Aldeguer complete this top10 27 minutes from the end of the session.
