For this Moto2 version of the Grand Prix of the Americas in Austin, Raul Fernandez (Red Bull KTM Ajo) qualified on pole position for the sixth time in Moto2, becoming the first rookie to take six or more pole positions in the category since Marc Márquez in 2011 who had a total of seven. The future Tech3 rider , currently second in the championship, has not done well, dominating absolutely all the practice sessions since Friday!

Faced with such hegemony, his teammate and championship leader with 34 points, Remy gardner(Red Bull KTM Ajo), saved the furniture and qualified in second position for his ninth front row since the start of the season: With these data alone, we can already expect a race under very high tension !

Will perhaps come and get involved in this confrontation Fabio Di Giannantonio (Federal Oil Gresini Moto2) qualified in third position, Marco Bezzecchi (Sky Racing Team VR46), third in the championship but already at 81 points, Cameron Beaubier (American Racing) who will start in fifth position for his home Grand Prix, Augusto Fernandez (ELF Marc VDS Racing) who got the better of his experienced British teammate who was relegated to 16th place.

18 laps of 5,5 kilometers are included in this Texan program which will take place, which takes place with temperatures of 31° in the air and 40° on the ground, but with 29 pilots still subject to Horrible images seen during the Moto3 race...

When the red lights go out... Cameron Beaubier makes the holeshot but widens at turn 1. Remy gardner takes the opportunity to take command in front of his teammate Raul Fernandez. Fabio DiGiannantonio follows in stride ahead Marco Bezzecchi.

Cameron Beaubier hyper motivated in front of his audience continues his attacks and even temporarily seizes second position. However, this benefits Raul Fernandez who managed to gain a second lead over his pursuers.

Fabio DiGiannantonio et Remy Gardner manage to get the better of the American but the Italian makes a mistake and everything has to be done again.

After three laps, we find the two Red Bull KTM teammates Ajo in the lead, however separated by more than a second.

Cameron Beaubier regains second position on the right under the clamor of the stands but the Australian regains his possession a few turns further…

The local driver also has a heat at turn 11 and drops back to fifth position.

Dramatic turn of events 13 laps from the finish when Remy Gardner minor fall at turn 15!

The Moto2 world championship is taking a completely different turn: with the current positions, the Australian would only be 9 points ahead of Raul Fernandez...

At the halfway mark, Raul Fernandez is now 2,4 seconds ahead of Fabio Di Giannantonio, himself detached by a second in front of a Marco Bezzecchi who has an advantage of 2,3 seconds over a duo Cameron Beaubier/Augusto Fernandez.

follows Tony Arbolino which seems faster but has already missed several gears.

Albert Arenas (India Aspar Team) falls in the last turn and gets up holding his collarbone…

Six laps from the checkered flag, Raul Fernandez begins to manage.

Gradually, Cameron Beaubier seems to have difficulty keeping up withAugusto Fernandez who is pushing hard to try to snatch third place on the podium from Marco Bezzecchi.

It will be in vain and we are witnessing the 7th victory of the season. Raul Fernandez before Fabio Di Giannantonio et Marco Bezzecchi.

Note the beautiful race of Cameron Beaubier who finished fifth at home, his best result in Moto2.
