Sam Lowes remembered everyone by taking pole position for the Austrian Grand Prix on Saturday. The Elf Marc VDS Racing Team rider is ahead of Raúl Fernández (Red Bull KTM Ajo) by 68 thousandths of a second. Rookie Ai Ogura (IDEMITSU Honda Team Asia), author of a convincing start to the weekend, will also start from the front row, in third position.

Just behind, we will find the Spanish driver in fourth place on the grid. Augusto Fernandez (Elf Marc VDS Racing Team), who will be alongside Remy gardner (Red Bull KTM Ajo), fifth. The Australian fell at the end of the session, ruining all his chances of improving his time. Second in the Styrian Grand Prix last week, Aron Canet (Aspar Team Moto2) set the sixth time in these qualifications, ahead of the Thai Somkiat Chantra (IDEMITSU Honda Team Asia).

The top 10 is completed by Celestine Vietti (SKY Racing Team VR46), Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Italtrans Racing Team) and Thomas luthi (Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team). Victim of a fall in the first minutes of qualifying, Marco Bezzecchi (SKY Racing Team VR46), winner on this same circuit last week, was unable to defend his chances and will start from 16th position.

But before the race, there is this warm-up session. What will she have in store for us? Before knowing it, here is the table which summarizes the facts known so far.
