The unfortunate Dutch rider, injured since Japan, will not be able to take part in the last Grand Prix of the season and will not be able to say goodbye to the Tech3 Racing team on the handlebars of his motorcycle.

Will Bendsneyder suffers from a fractured left tibia following a technical incident during the last lap of the Motegi race. His engine had in fact exploded and he had literally taken a part head-on.

Hospitalized for a while, he was finally able to return to the Netherlands to rest at home but missed the rest of the overseas tour. We hoped to see him again during the Valencia Grand Prix, but that will not be possible as the driver has not yet recovered.

This is how his collaboration with the Tech3 Racing team will end, and it is certain that everyone would have liked to see him at the helm of his machine for the last race. He will therefore leave next year as part of the NTS team for a one hundred percent Dutch duo, alongside South African Steven Odendaal. For its part, Tech3 will hire rookies Marco Bezzecchi and Philipp Oettl.

Bo Bendsneyder will therefore be replaced in Valencia by the Spanish driver Héctor Garzo who had already replaced Remy Gardner when he was injured at the start of the season. He is obviously delighted with this opportunity: “I am very happy to be back with the Tech3 Racing team, and I thank them for this opportunity. I obviously wish Bo a speedy recovery. I'm going to do my best this weekend and try to learn as much as possible while having fun. It's also a great chance for me to prepare for my CEV race which will take place the following week on the same track. »

Garzo will also join the team MotoE from Tech3 next year.
