Brad Binder wants to convince us, this 2017 season will only have been a break in his rise to the top. At the end of a triumphant 2016 campaign which gave him the Moto3 crown, it was with the same brand that the South African embarked on a Moto2 adventure which was also a first for the Austrian manufacturer. Unfortunately, a violent fall during the off-season damaged his arm which then had to be operated on three times. A hell of a setback and concerns which will eventually be swept away by the end of the year marked by three podiums. This time, Oliveira's teammate is in great shape aboard a promising KTM...

To be honest, the one who finished eighth in his last championship despite all the pitfalls is not to be taken lightly in the predictions of Moto2 version 2018. Here he is sharp and motivated, as he admits on speedweek : " I feel much stronger today. Nothing to do with last year at the same time. Physically I'm much better and that's also why I'm more serene. The end of last season went well for me and I know exactly where I need to improve ».

The 22-year-old pilot insists: “ I gained weight and muscle. I gave a lot in the gym. I really enjoyed this winter and now I'm happy that the season is approaching. Last year, I did well if you remember my beginnings, but halfway through the calendar, something clicked. Our way of working and my approach have changed. I accepted my level and got back to basics rather than wanting to go too fast. This was the start of my progression ».

And for 2018? “ I want to start from the level of the end of 2017 in order to continue progressing. What's more, KTM provided us with a new bike and new parts. I'm very excited about what awaits us this year ».

We will recall that Sam Lowes or even Dominique Aegerter will have KTMs this year, in addition toOlive tree and Binder.
