“Very sad to announce that I am unfit for the next race in Brno! After Jerez I returned to Switzerland for some tests to find out what happened during the race weekend in Spain. So far, doctors have found nothing to explain my dizziness and circulation problems. Since Jerez, I am still not able to do any activities or training. I will have more tests this week to be ready for the next GP in Austria. Mthanks for everything, RW Racing GP, and good luck. »

It is because message on his Facebook page that the Swiss pilot Jesko Raffin announced his withdrawal from the Czech Republic Grand Prix in Brno, following a final weekend in Jerez where he also had to give up racing, showing what was first diagnosed as "signs of heat stroke” but which is no longer very clear. These days, we don't take any symptom lightly, such as that of "extreme fatigue" announced by our RW Racing GP team...

Consequently, it will be replaced by Dominique Aegerter in Brno, awaiting the results of further medical examinations and his recovery. Recent winner in MotoE, his compatriot wearing the number 77 can line up in Moto2 as long as the Grands Prix do not include a round of the MotoE World Cup. And this is the case in Brno.

We wish a speedy recovery to Jesko Raffin, so that he can get back on the handlebars of his beautiful orange NTS as quickly as possible.

Jarno Janssen, director of the NTS RW Racing GP team: “ Jesko Raffin is unfortunately unable to ride at the moment. We don't know exactly what's wrong with him, and until it's known, it's not responsible for putting him on a motorcycle. We are happy to have found an experienced driver like Dominique Aegerter as a replacement. »

Jesko Raffin : " After ten minutes of effort, I'm exhausted and I see blackheads. My blood values seem good, which perplexes the doctors. They have not yet been able to find the cause and until it is clear we cannot work on a solution. In the coming days I will undergo further tests. Everything is under investigation: allergies, Pfeiffer, Lyme… I hope I can be back in Austria, but I am happy that NTS RW Racing GP has found a good replacement in Dominique Aegerter. »
