Moto2 wakes up this Sunday in Catalonia with Remy Gardner as leader. The Australian is in fact the one who will start from pole position in this Grand Prix near Barcelona, and which will take place this time after the MotoGP. The son of Wayne, 500 champion, could not better honor the recent signing of his contract with KTM to go, under the Tech3 colors, to discover MotoGP in 2022...
An opportunity to which Raul fernandez did not give up. He is also second to his current teammate in the leading position, and the Ajo duo will still be in a duel during the race. For the moment, things have always gone well between the protagonists…
But there is a driver that we did not expect in this meeting and it is Will Bendsneyder (Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team). The Dutchman, whose only front row in Moto2 dated from Qatar, was in fact credited with third place. The second row will be composed ofAugusto Fernández (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team), Fabio Di Giannantonio (Federal Oil Gresini Moto2) and Xavi Verge (Petronas Sprinta Racing).
Ai Ogura (Idemitsu Honda Team Asia) will occupy seventh position at the start of this event. At his side, the Japanese will find Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team) and his teammate Somkiat Chantra (Idemitsu Honda Team Asia). Marco Bezzecchi (Sky Racing Team VR46) completes the Top 10.
