It is with Remy Gardner in a dominant position that the day of Moto2 dawns in Jerez. The Australian left his mark on this Spanish Grand Prix by taking a record pole position which gives him the right keys for the race expected in the middle of this day. The last time he started like this from the top of the starting grid, he had raced to victory. Will the now Ajo rider who dreams of a KTM in MotoGP repeat the episode experienced in Portimao last year?

Since then, he has become the provisional leader of the championship, thus showing his progress. That being said, everything is hanging by a thread. Indeed, Gardner only a breath ahead Fabio DiGiannantonio (Federal Oil Gresini Moto2). 71 thousandths separate the two men. And Marco Bezzecchi (Sky Racing Team VR46), credited with the third time, is also less than a tenth behind.

Raul Fernandez (Red Bull KTM Ajo) will lead the second row. Sam Lowes, who intends to draw a line under this misadventure in Portimão and who missed pole position by nothing, following an error in the last corner of his fast lap, and Xavi Verge (Petronas Sprinta Racing) will appear alongside him.

The top 10 is completed by Augusto Fernandez (ELF Marc VDS Racing) seventh place, Joe Roberts (Italtrans Racing Team), the beginner Ai Ogura (Idemitsu Honda Team Asia) and Jake dixon (Petronas Sprinta Racing).

What will this warm-up session have in store for us? Before answering this question, here are the facts so far known concentrated in our traditional table.
