It was Ai Ogura who won pole position for the Spanish Grand Prix in the Moto2 category, sixth round of the 2022 World Championship. Thanks to a time of 1'41.289, the Team Asia rider took his first leading position career in the category ahead of the two standard bearers of the Marc VdS team Tony Arbolino and Sam Lowes.
Aron canet (Flexbox HP40) despite his recent wrist operation finished fourth in front Fermin Aldeguer (Speed Up) and the leader of the world championship Celestine Vietti (Mooney VR46 Racing). Seventh time for Somkiat Chantra (Team Asia) ahead Will Bendsneyder (SAG) and Augusto Fernandez (Ajo). Peter Acosta (Ajo) completes the top ten.
