Photos from the very first F2 test with Lorenzo Lanzi at Misano. No problem, 81 laps completed.

MV Agusta is about to return to the World Championship after a 42-year absence and development work on the new 2 Moto2019 is already in full swing. As soon as the first model was assembled (watch the video), the test pilot Lorenzo Lanzi took to the track at Misano completing 81 laps without technical problems.

For F2, for which it is the official technical acronym, it was the shake down, and it was therefore useless at this stage of the work to talk about times. In the 2019 World Championship, the MV Agusta will be led by the Forward team of Giovanni Cuzari which, after so much effort, managed to crown the dream of putting the legendary Italian brand back on track. F2, by regulation, will use the single three-cylinder Triumph 675 “but the intermediate category is only the first step, the goal is to reach the top”, confides Cuzari.
