The Malaysian Hafizh Syahrin is experiencing his last Grand Prix in MotoGP. An adventure that began last year with Tech3 and a good Yamaha which allowed him to make some brilliant moves, particularly on his Sepang track. But a KTM came to replace the M1 and, this year, it became more complicated. Without convincing results, he already knows that he will be replaced by Brad Binder from Moto2 where he would like to return. But here too, it’s not that simple…

Hafiz Syahrin is not assured of anything for 2020, although Malaysian. A nationality which is also that of a major investor in the paddock, in this case Petronas. But compatriot does not necessarily mean friend, and since Syahrin left the awning of the tanker, relations are cold between the citizens of a country which has Sepang as a circuit.

In fact, a return to Moto2 under the Petronas colors is very far from being acquired for a Syahrin who, therefore, hopes Gresini. This team of an eponymous Fausto goes to see its investor Federal Oil leave him like his current pilot Sam Lowes who signed with Marc VDS. As a result, the structure works with the team ofEnrico Tasca, who will lose his place on the starting grid in Moto2, like Kiefer. The idea is to organize a joint venture.

Niccolo Bulega will be part of this new adventure Gresini, but as for his teammate, even if the rumor already delights in a reunion with Roman Fenati, it also presents the 25-year-old Malaysian as a possibility... It will be recalled that the plans for Syahrin were especially complicated after KTM's announcement to stop costs in Moto2, because his place within the team Red Bull Tech3 in the category was practically acquired.

However, according to our latest information, the Malaysian would ultimately end up at Aspar alongside Aron Canet: a great duo mixing experience and young talent!
