Moto2 Indonesia P2

Arriving for the 15th of his 20 stages on the Mandalika circuit for P2, the world championship Moto2 presents us with a much less tight configuration than in Moto3 and MotoGP, since the leader Peter Acosta (Red Bull KTM Ajo) is 50 points ahead of Tony Arbolino (Elf Marc VDS Racing Team) and 93 on Jake dixon (India GASGAS Aspar Team).

However, with 75 points to be distributed over the next three consecutive weekends alone, and 150 by the end of the season, nothing is decided and 9 drivers are still mathematically in the race for the world title...

Among the changes in the list of participants, we will especially note the definitive replacement of Celestino Vietti for the benefit of Lorenzo Baldassarri within the Fantic Racing team due to injury.
No wildcard in Moto2.

When it comes to the weather, a thorny subject in Mandalika last year, if we seem to be avoiding the terrible rain we'll experience in 2022, we're not completely safe from a nice little downpour this afternoon...

Earlier this morning it was Manuel Gonzalez who had achieved the best mark. Here is the table which summarizes the facts known so far:

Shortly after the lights went out, Fermin Aldeguer, winner at Silverstone, is formidable. Then, Tony Arbolino enters the dance, he who must hope for a miracle to be titled.

Peter Acosta, after an average morning, sets the record straight with the track record. He is directly followed by his teammate Albert Arenas, in good shape after his first podium in Catalonia.

Manuel Gonzalez is also in great shape, and confirms what he suggested to us this morning. After a severe calm, Aron canet is active and even beats the record of Peter Acosta ! Could it be time to take your first victory in Moto2? Except that Pedro Acosta has not said his last word. He had an ace up his sleeve.

In the end, no one could get close to Pedro Acosta which lit up in its final loop. He becomes the natural favorite for this Grand Prix.
