Fermin Aldeguer was the fastest during the third and final free practice session of the Moto2 category of the Grand Prix in Indonesia, second round of the 2022 World Championship. The Team SpeedUp rider, 2021 European Champion and former MotoE , on the completely wet Mandalika circuit, achieved the best performance with a time of 1'47.835, obtained on the tenth of 13 laps.
Behind him, at 1.441s, we find Augusto Fernandez, riding the Kalex of the KTM Ajo team and Jake dixon (GASGAS), best driver in FP2. Tony Arbolino (Marc VdS) closed with the fourth time in front of the two standard bearers of the FlexBox HP4 team: Aron canet et Jorge Navarro. Peter Acosta (KTM Ajo) finished seventh ahead Barry Baltus (RW Racing) and Sean Dylan Kelly (America Racing). Somakiat Chantra (Honda team Asia) completes the top ten.

Lowes seizes the provisional pole signing the best time in 1.36.124s. He is ahead Chantra, Arenas and Canet.
Dixon improves and takes control in 1.35.799s. Lowes is dethroned from 2nd position by A. Fernandez. He drops back to 3rd position in front Chantra and Arenas
