It is the rookie Raul Fernandez, already a double winner this season, who will start from the front position in this Italian Grand Prix, sixth round of the Moto2 season. This is the second time that the Ajo KTM rider is in control of the starting grid. Neither a shower nor Sam Lowes and Jorge Navarro who accompanied him on the first row could upset him.
After the French Grand Prix, Raul fernandez finds himself once again in pole position. The young Spanish prodigy made the difference with his lap in 1'50.723. The nice surprise came from Jorge Navarro (MB Conveyors Speed Up). The Valencian, who had not yet had the privilege of appearing on one of the first two rows this year, actually set the third time, just ahead of the Championship leader. Remy gardner (Red Bull KTM Ajo) and Fabio DiGiannantonio (Federal Oil Gresini Moto2).
Tony Arbolino (Liqui Moly Intact GP) finished in their wake, while his compatriot Marco Bezzecchi (Sky Racing Team VR46) will share the third row with Xavi Verge (Petronas Sprinta Racing) and Marcel Schrötter (Liqui Moly Intact GP). Joe Roberts (Itatrans Racing Team) completes the Top 10.
