Moto2 has been collecting crashes since the start of its weekend at Le Mans. We will therefore have to be measured while being quick for drivers who have already worn themselves out physically and mentally. among them; neither more nor less than the championship leader Luca Marini who achieved the feat, after his frightening fall on Friday afternoon during FP2 to register directly in Q2. which is not the case for his runner-up to general Enea Bastinini who will have to go through Q1…

This is an opportunity to remind you that the exercise will be carried out in two stages, with repechages from which four drivers will emerge who will join the final to gain the best positions on the starting grid. Q1 session for 15min

It is Canet who is the 1st to sign the reference time for the session in 1.37.734s. He is ahead Luthi et Syrahin.

Luthi came to recover the best time in 1.37.359s less than 8 minutes before the end of the session. Di Giannantonio, Bastianini and Canet are the trio qualified with the Swiss, with a view to Q2.

bastianini takes the lead with a time achieved in 1.36.731s.

Fall ofIzdihar and Biesiekirski in turn 8. Dallas Port also makes a mistake in turn 2.

2 more minutes and bastianini is in charge in front Luthi, Canet and Di Giannantonio.

End of session and these are Bastianini, Luthi, Canet and Di Giannantonio who will join Q2 in order to take pole position.

Q2 session: 

The track temperature dropped from 26° to 22° during the Q1 session, which may explain the number of significant falls.

It is bastianini who took the lead at the start of the session by setting the best time in 1.37.603s. But Martin hits hard, passing the 1.36 mark, he sets a lap time of 1.36.522s. bastianini et Lowes follow in his footsteps.

Canet is also on the move, he comes to position himself in 2nd place in 1.36.930s.

Martin improves and in turn takes the best time in 1.36.522s.

kick of Martin in turn 3. Fall of NAVARRO in the same turn. The driver could be penalized for not having slowed down under a yellow flag when Martin had just fallen in this turn..

The top5 is as follows 3 minutes from the end of the session: Lowes who has just taken provisional pole with a lap time of 1.36.343s ahead Martin, Marini, Dixon and Manzi.

Marini in action despite his big fall yesterday! 4th!

In the last second, Roberts takes control and hangs a 1.36.256s. Lowes, Gardner, Martin and Bezzecchi make up the top5. Marini is 5th.

Roberts thus takes his 3rd pole position of the year in 1.26.256s. he is ahead Lowes, Gardner, Martin et Bezzecchi.
