For the third time this season, American Joe Roberts will start from pole position this season. That of the French Grand Prix will have been won by a hard fight since it only took 87 thousandths to decide between the Tennor American Racing driver of Sam Lowes. It was the Australian Remy Gardner who completed the first row in the very last seconds of this very competitive session…
On the second row of the starting grid of Moto2 French Grand Prix we will find Jorge Martín who managed to save the furniture despite a fall mid-session, with his two Italian compatriots and teammates from Sky Racing Team VR46 at his side, Marco Bezzecchi et Luca marini. The current leader of the Championship managed to achieve a very good performance by obtaining the sixth time despite his violent fall the day before.
In his wake, the two representatives of the Petronas Sprinta Racing team, Xavi Verge et Jake Dixon ranked seventh and eighth respectively. Enea Bastianini, survivor of Q1 a few minutes earlier with the best time of the session, will complete the third row. It is another Italian pilot in the person of Stefano manzi which will complete the Top 10 at the end of these two qualifying sessions.
