"Never two without three" goes the saying, and this is confirmed for the AGV helmet brand which, in quick succession, has just lost three representatives in Grands Prix.

After Jorge Martin who will ride a Shark this year and Pol Espargaro who opted for HJC and it's the turn of Lorenzo Baldassarri to abandon transalpine products in favor of HJC for the current season.

These three “losses” for AGV lead us to wonder about the continuation of events, since the Italian firm belongs to Dainese, the leathers worn among others by Pol Espargaro et Lorenzo Baldassarri. Will these two pilots also move on to the competition regarding their light clothing? This is probable, although the case does not arise for George Martin who was already riding Alpinestars.

To go back to Lorenzo Baldassarri, Forward Racing MV Agusta driver this year, 2020 was disappointing for his last season in the Sito Pons team. A single podium in Qatar for the man who started 2019 with a bang with 3 victories in 4 races. In the end, the 24-year-old Italian rider finished only 12th in the championship with 71 points, for the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup champion's 7th year in Moto2 in 2011.

Let's hope that the departure of Enea Bastianini, Luca Marini and Jorge Martin in the premier category as well as his return under the Forward Racing colors, which he already wore from 2015 to 2017, will allow him to return to the forefront this year.
