A serious incident that will see the main person concerned remain on the ground for a long time before being evacuated on a stretcher. Jake Dixon is currently at the medical center to assess his condition. The rest of his weekend will not be compromised, however. Later, the main person concerned returned to his box, and was declared fit to drive. He will not, however, return to the track this Friday.

Despite his fall, Dixon held the lead for most of the session. Deniz Öncü, Celestino Vietti and Ai Ogura all came very close to his mark, but were unable to beat it.

Manuel González was the first to find the solution to gain the few tenths needed. The Spaniard thus promoted himself to the top of the ranking with a new reference time of 2:05.576.

The last attempts were aborted due to a highside by Ayumu Sasaki at turn 2. The rider and his machine having fallen back in the middle of the track, it was necessary to interrupt the session to take the time to evacuate.

The session resumed a few minutes later, and many tried their luck. However, none managed to dislodge Manuel González from first place.
