The numbers placed under the Sky VR46 banner have just been announced before hostilities begin in Aragón. And after the departures of Bulega in Moto2 then Foggia in Moto3, we are witnessing the repatriations of the academicians from Tavullia, Bezzecchi and Migno. The latter, almost a veteran, will continue in Moto3 while the former will do his second season in Moto2 but on a Kalex alongside Marini.

Migno will coexist with Drive. And the arrival of Bezzecchi confirms that in the troops of Valentino Rossi, we will remain among friends and old acquaintances. For Andrea Migno, it's a return. Indeed, he raced with the Sky Racing Team VR46 between 2015 and 2017, achieving one victory and two podiums.

« Sky VR46 will once again equip 4 motorcycles in 2 categories, with 4 of the most interesting and talented young Italian riders. A choice aimed at strengthening team spirit, a constructive work climate and mutual help with the confirmations of Luca and Celestino, the arrival of Marco and the return of Andrea " has explained Paul Grandson. " Two teams of fast drivers, ready to impress and give us so many emotions. From a technical point of view, we have chosen the stability and solidity of the relationships of mutual trust that we have built over the years within the paddock, by extending our existing partnerships with KTM and Kalex. »

Marco Bezzecchi is excited about this new adventure after a not too exciting season with KTM. “ I am really happy for this great opportunity. I arrived at the World Championship thanks to the support of the Academy and today, being able to race with this team makes me very proud. This second season in Moto2 will be a challenge and I will do my best to be worthy of the trust given. »

Andrea Migno looking for redemption after two difficult seasons adds: “ it was two years that were both stimulating and formative. I learned new realities that helped me grow as a pilot and as a person. When the opportunity to race again with this team presented itself, it was like it was said it was time to come home. I will return to the family with which I started the World Championship, a team that always aims to improve. I want to thank Sky and VR46 for giving me this new chance. »
