Only three riders took to the track during the second day of testing in Jerez due to rain which ruined the program for the Moto2 and Moto3 teams. Many had already left the circuit in the morning.

Rain, rain and more rain. There is ultimately very little to say about these first tests of 2020 for the Moto2 and Moto3 teams and riders. This Thursday, it was even worse compared to the day before since only three drivers drove, two of whom had transponders. Given the conditions, most teams stopped immediately. For some the season is definitely over, while others will meet for two days in Valencia, hoping to find better weather there.

In Moto2, alone Joe Roberts (American Racing Team) entered the track. The American used almost all of the time allowed to ride. At the end of his 45 laps, his reference time was 1'53.808. In Moto3, two riders braved the rain, starting with the beginner Deniz Oncu (Red Bull KTM Tech3) who was the first to win the track on this difficult day. The young Turk completed 27 laps with a best lap of 1'59.863.

Finally, the last one on the track but without a transponder was Roman Fenati. The Italian does not have any official time but wanted to make his first outing aboard his Husqvarna from the Max Racing Team, his new team in 2020. The conditions were not the best to get the first sensations, but he was able to make a first contact.

See you Monday and Tuesday in Jerez where the last tests of the year for MotoGP will take place, before World Superbike goes there on November 28 and 29.
