This morning we focused more on the new equipment used; Between the Pirelli tires, the new Forward aluminum chassis and the Boscoscuro MT Helmets MSi, there was plenty to do. You can find this article by clicking here.

Here we will focus more on this Moto2 grid, and the riders who have just arrived there. Finally, at 17 p.m., we will do the same with the competitors in the Moto3 field. For reference, it's Spanish Daniel Holgado who finished first in the second Moto3 test session. Go below to see the full ranking.

In Valencia, many new kids are littering this grid! First of all, how can we not mention the arrival of Jaume Masia in intermediate category. The 3 Moto2023 world champion is currently riding the Kalex Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team, a team which does not play in front but which can create a surprise.

We notice the pilot Senna Agius at Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP. The Australian had already made a few wild cards for the team, without much success it must be said.

Obviously, the new team MT Helmets MSi, en lieu and in place of Pons Racing, makes people talk. Already present in Moto3 – notably with the Brazilian Diogo Moreira winner in Indonesia (also signed with Italtrans Racing in Moto2), the team is thinking big with two high-quality riders. Ai Ogura on the one hand, the 2 Moto2022 world vice-champion, and Sergio Garcia on the other, 3 Moto2022 world vice-champion and rookie of the year at Pons in Moto2 for the 2023 season. Note that the chassis used are the Boscoscuro/Speed Up, very efficient with Fermin Aldeguer et Alonso Lopez.

Mario Aji, of Moto3, therefore takes the place ofAi Ogura next to Somkiat Chantra in Idemitsu Honda Team Asia. Aron canet, ex-Pons Racing and second in Valencia, bounced back at Fantic Racing next to Xavi Cardelus.

Another notable movement; the departure of the promising Filip Salac from home QJMotor Gresini Racing for the reference team Elf MarcVDS Racing Team. It can hurt a lot, no doubt.

But certainly not as much as the world champion team in 2021, 2022 and 2023 in Moto2; Red Bull KTM Ajo. Aki Ajo continues to pack a punch with two new drivers. Exit Albert Arenas, 3 Moto2020 world champion (who takes the place of Salac in Gresini), and welcome to Deniz Oncu of Moto3, and Celestine Vietti, winner in Austria this season for Fantic Racing.

Ayumu Sasaki, sad vice-champion of the 3 Moto2023 world and winner in Valencia, finds himself at Correos Prepago Yamaha VR46 Master Camp next to Jeremy Alcoba. Manuel Gonzalez, ex-Yamaha VR46 rider in Moto2, makes the opposite journey and takes Alcoba's place at Gresini.

Finally, how can we not mention the case of Xavi Artigas. The pilot CFMoto Racing Prüstel GP learned of the disappearance of his Moto3 team three days ago; fortunately, he managed to find a way out at Forward Team in Moto2. Let's hope that Joel Kelso, his ex-teammate, has the same luck.

That's all for big transfers and arrivals in intermediate categories! See you at 17 p.m. for an episode dedicated to the new Moto3 grid, and to the drivers present in Valencia. Meanwhile, the teams continue to test tirelessly. Find the rankings below!
