fabio quartararo and Edgar Pons took advantage of this first official test to reveal the colors under which they will ride in 2017. The Pons team loses its yellow dress to return to the colors with which it was titled in 2013 with Pol Espargaró.

Quarterly does not set any particular objectives this season apart from fighting for the title of best rookie of the season against his former Moto3 rivals. His teammate E. Pons wants to put aside the health problems he encountered at the start of last season to climb the rankings.

fabio quartararo :

« I am happy to be part of the Pons HP 40 team. I felt comfortable from the first day. We are doing a good job and we are faster and more consistent. I am improving my riding style to adapt to a category that matches my riding characteristics. We have no objective other than to have fun on the bike. The results will come later. I take on this new challenge with great enthusiasm. »

Edgar Pons :

« After a difficult first season, I start this season with more experience. Continuing with the same technical team is ideal. We are like family and that helps build my confidence. This winter we worked harder and we are ready to face this season in which we want to return to the level that we could not show last year. I can't wait to get back into my Kalex and start working to achieve results and meet the expectations of the team and sponsors »

Site Pons :

« As we have shown in recent seasons, once again we are betting on talent thanks to a team of young drivers full of promise with Fabio Quartararo and Edgar Pons. It's part of our DNA. Fabio is a driver that we have followed since his beginnings and who has won practically everything in each category. I am convinced that he will be able to satisfy us from his first season. For his part, Edgar knows the category. For his second season in the World Championship, I have no doubt that he will make the leap that will allow him to fight at the forefront. »
