Having barely got off their machines at the end of the qualifying session for the Dutch Grand Prix, the three fastest drivers in the session delivered their first impressions to the microphone of the MotoGP official website.

Raúl Fernández (Red Bull KTM Ajo), pole sitter:

" I I'm very happy to get this new pole position. It's good especially after my accident during the last race. But the most important thing is that I came back stronger. We were at the top of all the free practice sessions and that is very important for confidence for tomorrow. I hope we can fight against Remy in the race, because I think I'm a little stronger than him here. But you have to stay on your guard, because as everyone knows he is very strong during races. The idea is to start the summer break with a new podium. This is my goal, and I will fight for it. »

Remy Gardner (Red Bull KTM Ajo), second:

"This was a good qualifying session, and to be honest I wasn't expecting to be on the front row today as I was struggling in terms of pure speed, especially on the softer tyre. But I still managed to get this good result, but I have to say that we arrived in qualifying with different settings, and it paid off. The most positive side is that we are competitive with the hard tyres. I'm not sure that many guys will opt for the soft tire tomorrow, but it will definitely be an interesting day. »

Sam Lowes (Elf Marc VDS Racing Team), third:

" My The pace has been very good, and I think I'll be in the running during the race. I have a good feeling on the track and the bike is working well, so I'm looking forward to this last race before the summer break. »
