The Moto2 team led by Sito Pons, the FlexBox HP 40, presented yesterday its new sporting project with its new riders, Arón Canet and Jorge Navarro, a duo of the most competitive riders in the intermediate category.

With this sporting project, the FlexBox HP 40 approaches the new season with a clear and unique objective: to regain the title of Moto2 World Champion that it enjoyed in the past with Espargaro Pol in 2013.

Aron Canet, 6th last year at Aspar, and Jorge Navarro, 9th last season at Speed Up, will therefore have at their disposal a large technical and human team, based on Kalex and stable sponsors who have reaffirmed their commitment to the team.

Site Pons:
”Today we present a completely renewed sporting project with two new drivers, Arón Canet and Jorge Navarro, to whom I welcome to the team. We've been following them for years and we know how fast they are. They have experience in the MotoGP World Championship and they already know what it is like to fight for a world title. They have achieved victories and podiums in Moto3 and Moto2, so with our technical team we believe we can provide them with what they need to get that title they are looking for. Jorge and Arón will give us a lot of joy this season and we will be able to celebrate many successes together, and share them with our sponsors, who have once again given us their support and trust. Now it's up to us to return it to them with victories and podiums, being consistent throughout the season in order to achieve our goal: to be World Champions at the end of the year”.

Arón Canet:
“Today we present the team colors and that means the start of a new season, a new year which I think can be very enjoyable. I'm in a great team and I'm very motivated by everything about this new season. Today we start the first tests of the pre-season and we have to work from less to more, understanding the new bike with a work plan with Qatar in mind, and arriving as well prepared as possible”.

Jorge Navarro:
“I’m really looking forward to starting the new season. For me it is a very important season and I am very happy to have a team like the FlexBox HP 40 behind me and to participate in this championship with a Kalex. I can't wait to start working and today we start the pre-season test, but I can't wait to get to Qatar and start racing. I’m sure we have a great year ahead of us.”

The Sito Pons team is doing private testing today in Jerez, before the official test which will take place in Portimao next Saturday and Sunday.
