Having barely got off their machines at the end of the qualifying session for the Algarve Grand Prix, the three fastest drivers in the session delivered their first impressions to the microphone of the MotoGP official website.

Raúl Fernández (Red Bull KTM Ajo/poleman):

« I'm very happy because it was exactly the plan we wanted to follow before qualifying. I could have done an even better qualifying session, because I didn't really manage to drive with a really clear track. But in the end we got pole position, and I'm very happy with that because I said that in the last four races I wanted to be strong. »

Remy Gardner (Red Bull KTM Ajo/second):

« My last two laps were pretty good. I changed tires in the middle of the session. I have to say that I'm still suffering from my fall yesterday, but we'll see what happens in the race. »

Fabio Di Giannantonio (Federal Oil Gresini Moto2/third):

« When the sensations are there, the speed is there too! My level of driving is exactly the same as in Jerez or on the circuits where I was able to obtain podiums. I'm very happy, and we'll see tomorrow if I can have a good race. »
