The fourth round of the Moto2 World Championship will take place this weekend at the Lusail International Circuit in Qatar. After a memorable Grand Prix of the Americas, BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha riders Tony Arbolino and Izan Guevara arrive with the firm intention of confirming their form and aiming for the top positions.

The Grand Prix of the Americas marked a historic milestone for Pramac Yamaha Moto2. Tony Arbolino took a superb second place, securing the team's first Moto2 podium finish. Meanwhile, Izan Guevara impressed with a spectacular comeback, moving from 26th on the grid to fifth at the finish, making no fewer than 12 overtakes on the first lap. These performances gave the team considerable momentum ahead of the Qatari challenge.

The Lusail circuit, known for its unique characteristics, will be very different from Austin, but the team remains optimistic. Tony Arbolino achieved a fifth place there in 2022 after starting on the front row, while Guevara has distinguished himself with solid performances in Moto3, including a seventh place on his 2021 debut.

“After Austin, the week was excellent, confides the Italian. This first podium of the season really boosted everyone's morale and brought a lot of serenity to the team. Last week, we had a very productive meeting, which helped us understand where we were and what we needed to focus on to be even more competitive."

"We are all confident, this good result was exactly what we needed, He continues. Now we just have to keep this momentum going until Qatar. I really like Losail; it's a circuit where the Boscoscuro bikes have always performed well. Even though I've never managed to get on the podium there, I've always been quite competitive. I have the feeling that this weekend could be the one where we take a big step forward."

Beyond the Qatar Grand Prix, Tony Arbolino is already thinking about the rest of the calendar, and expects a slight setback for the 2025 Spanish Grand Prix, which will be held in Jerez in just over two weeks. “Between Austin, Losail and Jerez – although Jerez is a bit of a critical circuit for me – we will really start to understand what kind of season we can have. The bike is improving and the team is learning more and more what I need to give the best of myself.”

After three races, Tony Arbolino sits fifth in the overall standings with 28 points. BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha is currently fifth in the team standings with 40 points.
