Here is the decision just taken by the Federal Court, the highest judicial body of the IMF:

“It applies to Romano Fenati born on January 15, 1996 in Ascoli Piceno, registered and holding a license at the FMI with the Italian Motorcycle Academy motorcycle club (of which he is also vice-president), the suspension of all sporting activity and federal with the consecutive withdrawal of card no. 18069174 and Elite speed license no. G05849. Romano Fenati has a hearing which will take place on September 14, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Council Chamber located in Viale Tiziano 74, Palazzo Coni, on the ground floor. He is informed that he has the right to be assisted by a lawyer. »

The court fully validated the request of Federal Prosecutor Antonio De Girolamo who considers that the conduct of Romano Fenati during the Moto2 race of the San Marino Grand Prix was of a “unprecedented severity” and “an undeniable violation of all the legal, regulatory and general principles inherent in the very concept of sport. »
