From there, a fracture of the right scaphoid was revealed and the Italian driver will have to undergo an operation by Dr. Morigi next Tuesday (9/04/2019).
Gabriel Ruiu (18 years old) will replace him for the third round of the season. The young Italian rider has already matured for 2 years in Moto2 in the FIM CEV championship, then continues his motorcycle experience by participating in a few races of the Superbike World Championship, where he became known as the youngest rider to have scored points in the championship, as well as in the World SuperSport.
For now, the replacement of Stefano Manzi is only considered for the Grand Prix of the Americas.
