Rumors were still going strong in the Red Bull Ring paddock last weekend, and did not only concern the MotoGP category where a few points still remain to be clarified, such as for example the future of Dani Pedrosa, future test rider or simple ambassador, or even the fate of Xavier Siméon.

Take for example the Moto3 category, where the arrival of John McPhee within the team SIC-Petronas implies that one of the 2 current pilots will have to look elsewhere. So far, Adam Norrodin held the rope to keep his handlebars, mainly because of his Malaysian nationality. But lately, the popularity of the Japanese Ayumu Sasaki is skyrocketing… Answer at Silverstone next week!

Let's continue with the Moto2 category where for example Sam Lowes is supposed to have already signed with Gresini, but what interests us more particularly this morning is the composition of the team Forward Racing Moto2 who will line up the splendid MV Agusta next year.

Until now, no name had been put forward, not even from the mouth of the nevertheless talkative Charles Pernat, officially sports director of the Italian project.

But in Austria, 2 surnames emerged “from among the trucks”, starting with that of Mattia Pasini who should probably join Stefano Manzi in the Italian-Swiss team.

Mattia Pasini would thus make its return to the structure of Giovanni Cuzari, after having raced there in the same intermediate category in 2013 and 2014.

The 33-year-old Italian, who is already in his fourteenth Grand Prix season (excluding 2012 and 2015), has returned to his best level since last year, and he will be able to bring all his experience and enthusiasm to this project that many find it very exciting.

As for Stefano manzi, ranked 22nd in the championship with 8 points, he is unfortunately best known for having the greatest number of falls this year in the Moto2 category, three units ahead of a Sam Lowes yet already very generous in this matter…

Once again, all of these are just paddock rumors, and we will have to wait for possible confirmation before analyzing the potential of this possible collaboration in more depth.
