Red Bull KTM rider Ajo wins an exciting Moto2 British Grand Prix for once…

Solid ! This is the qualifier that comes to mind to characterize Remy gardner at the end of a British Grand Prix where the Australian had to fight to the end to be able to climb to the highest step of the podium.

Remy gardner made a good start from the second row of the grid, retaining fourth place after a somewhat eventful first lap. The son of Wayne attacked hard to avoid an escape from those in front of him, before passing them one by one and seizing the lead on the fifth lap.

More Marco Bezzecchi fought like a lion to prevent the KTM rider from escaping and we had to wait until the last lap to know the outcome of the race.

Unlike his teammate, the future Tech3 rider in MotoGP did not give up and thus won his fourth triumph of the year, the fifth of his career.

Remy gardner : " The words fail me. It was an incredible day! I felt good during all the sessions this weekend and, above all, I had a good rhythm with the hard tire. I am very happy to have won this victory and to have obtained 25 points which are very important. I would like to thank the team and everyone who supported me. I'm looking forward to the next round, in which I will continue to do my best. »

Aki Ajo : " What a Moto2 race! Remy showed who is the mentally strongest rider right now, especially on this track today. It was a very good fight, and exciting to watch. The other riders also did a good job, forcing Remy to fight until the end. I am satisfied and proud of his performance. »

Remy gardner remains at the top of the Moto2 world championship with 231 points, and will be able to approach the Aragón Grand Prix, which will take place from September 10 to 12, with a lead of 44 points over his current and future teammate, Raul Fernandez gone to England.
