During the “Non British Grand Prix at Silverstone”, Simon Crafar, who now works as Pit Reporter for the official MotoGP.com website, was able to test the Triumph equipped with the latest evolution of the future engine which will equip Moto2 from 'next year.

At the end of these few kilometers on the British circuit, the ex-Grand Prix driver did not hide his enthusiasm, although, not really liking Supersport, it was not a foregone conclusion...

Simon Crafar : “I've always liked the Suzuki GSXR 750 so I jumped at the chance for a good test ride with the new Triumph 765 (Moto2) today. It was properly tuned, with good brakes, good suspension and Dunlop Moto2 slicks. This is nothing short of brilliant. It is magic ! Without any exaggeration. It's hard to guess exactly how much faster this will be. Acceleration is much better than with the original 600 engine currently used. It's torquey, it jumps out of corners, it lifts the front wheel, it puts a strain on the rear tire, the engine braking is excellent and, I'm sure you'll agree, it sounds great.

With 765cc and the extra power, the dynamics of Moto2 will change a lot.

The proof is… I don’t like the 600 and I loved it! »
