The beginning of their relationship was marked by declarations and denials that seemed like delays in starting a promised new major adventure. But since, Site Pons, the boss of the eponymous team, and his new recruit, who will make his debut in Moto2 this season, rub shoulders and know each other better. The last private tests from Valencia even brought them a little closer together. And for good reason: Fabio Quartararo, who succeeded Alex Rins, was quick.
The situation should be taken with a grain of salt because the board is not yet running with the single engine reserved for the category. But it’s always good for morale and encourages cohesion.
